Part-Time School Crossing Guard

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

SCHOOL CROSSING GUARD POSITION

The City of Mosinee is accepting applications for the position of School Crossing Guard for the 2023-2024 school year. This duty involves interacting with students and adults at the intersection of 11th Street and Fremont Street. The duty hours will be ½ hour prior to the start of school (7:20 AM to 7:50 AM) and ½ hour prior to the end of school (3:00 PM to 3:30 PM). If multiple applications are received for this position, a flexible schedule for duty hours could be worked out between co-workers. Training regarding rules of the road and stopping motor vehicles on the roadway to allow safe pedestrian crossing will be provided by the Police Department. The Police Department will provide a reflective traffic vest and a handheld stop sign. The pay rate is $11.00 per hour.
