Fire Chief

The Mosinee Fire District located in north central Wisconsin is currently seeking applications for the position of Fire Chief. The Mosinee Fire District operates under an intergovernmental agreement and consists of the City of Mosinee and the Towns of Bergen, Knowlton, and Mosinee. The Fire Chief is responsible for directing and supervising a department consisting of 1 full-time Deputy Chief, 1 full-time Captain and 43 paid on call Firefighters and EMTs, with an annual budget of $665,000.

Seasonal Part-Time Parks

The City of Mosinee is accepting applications for a seasonal part-time employee to assist in the maintenance of City parks and oversee seasonal staff hired to work in the Parks Dept. This is a seasonal, part-time position with no benefits. Primary responsibilities include; supervising seasonal staff, mowing lawns, watering flowers and various other activities associated with park maintenance. Rate of pay for this position is $12.00/hour. A valid Wisconsin driver’s license is required. Interested applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
