STREET DEPARTMENT CREW WORKER

The City of Mosinee (pop. 4500) is accepting applications for the position of Street Dept. Crew Worker.

Applications will be accepted until 4:30 pm on November 22, 2024. The starting salary range for this non-represented full-time position is $27.00 – $30.00 per hour, depending upon qualifications.

The Street Dept. Crew Worker position is responsible for performing general labor activities throughout the city.

Under the supervision of the Director of Public Works and the Street Dept. Lead worker, the position is generally responsible for working on street construction and repair, fall leaf collection, park maintenance, public building maintenance and snowplowing.

The position requires the operation of heavy road construction equipment including dump trucks, end loaders, backhoes, street sweepers and other related equipment.

Qualified applicants will • At a minimum, possess a high school diploma or GED. • Possess a valid Wisconsin Commercial Driver’s license with airbrake qualifications and tanker endorsement.

PARK MAINTENANCE WORKER I Opportunity

The City of Mosinee is seeking applications for the position of PARK MAINTENANCE WORKER I.

These are part-time positions with employment being from approximately mid-April to September.

Primary responsibilities include maintenance of City parks; mowing lawn, repairing park equipment, painting, cleaning park buildings, maintain mowing equipment, watering flowers and assisting in the City’s Public Works Dept. as necessary.

A valid Wisconsin driver’s license is required. Interested applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Pay rate is $12.00 per hour.
