Bruce started with the City in October 1996 as the Deputy Clerk/Treasurer. Bruce has been serving as City Clerk for the City of Mosinee since April 1999 and City Treasurer since May 2006. As the City Clerk, Bruce is responsible for the various functions as listed: webmaster of the City web site, elections, maintaining City records, ordinances, resolutions, meeting minutes and agendas, building permits, accounts payable, collecting taxes, payroll, liquor and operators licenses and general office duties. As the City Treasurer, Bruce is responsible for maintaining the City of Mosinee's financial records and accounts. Bruce is a lifelong resident of the Mosinee Area. Bruce graduated from Southwest Minnesota State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Bruce is a member of the Wisconsin Municipal Clerks Association, International Institute of Municipal Clerks, owner/shareholder of the Green Bay Packers, founding member and Treasurer for the Mosinee Community Athletic Association, founding member and past Treasurer of the Mosinee Area Action Club, founder and former executive director of the Mosinee Alumni Basketball Tournament, member of Peace United Church of Christ in Schofield, and a Notary Public. Bruce is a Certified Municipal Treasurer in Wisconsin, Certified Municipal Clerk through the International Institute of Municipal Clerks, and a Wisconsin Certified Municipal Clerk. Some of Bruce's hobbies include coaching Softball, Basketball and Volleyball, watching and attending Green Bay Packer games, Milwaukee Brewers and the Wisconsin Badgers, Golf, and Snowmobiling.
